JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are primarily looking for someone who has a teaching license to teach in leisure homes. The role of the leisure teacher involves having a special pedagogical responsibility to plan, implement, document, and evaluate the activities. The leisure teacher should promote lifelong learning through play and creativity with a pedagogical approach. The teacher should prepare children for life in a democratic and multicultural society. In collaboration with guardians, children should be given care and opportunities for learning.

The role also includes music teaching. The school is equipped with a separate music room that has various instruments, a clevertouch, and a whiteboard. In your role as a music teacher at the school, you will have the opportunity to influence how you want to shape your teaching environment.

The assignment is governed by the Education Act, the curriculum, and the municipal governing documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach in leisure homes and music. Previous experience as a teacher is an advantage.

You are skilled at recognizing students' needs and adapting your approach, response, and working methods to create the best conditions for each student.

Your assignment involves leading all your students to the best possible knowledge development with clarity, warmth, and a positive view of students, as well as contributing to good communication with colleagues, students, and guardians. It is important that you have good collaboration skills.

Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students and other staff, as well as document what the activities require in writing.
