Special Educators Wanted for Mogärdeskolan and Holsby School

Are you a positive and engaged special educator who wants to make a difference? For the upcoming autumn term, we are looking for two special educators for Mogärdeskolan and Holsby School, both of which are F–6 schools. As a special educator, you are an important part of the student health work and contribute to creating good conditions for students' learning and development.

In your role, you will collaborate closely with educators, student health, principals, and guardians. The work includes both preventive and remedial measures at the individual, group, and school levels. You will help develop the learning environment and support educators in finding adaptations and support so that students can receive their instruction within the classroom framework as much as possible.

The work is varied and tailored to the needs of the students. You may work with individual students, in groups, or in the classroom. You will participate in assessments, design interventions together with colleagues, and follow up on students' development. The role may also include mentoring colleagues, contacts with external actors, and collaboration around the common work of student health.

Collaborating and maintaining contact with guardians is a natural part of the role. Together with the school's staff, you contribute to the schools' common development work and create learning environments where all students have the opportunity to succeed – always with the student's best interests at heart.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has a solution-focused approach. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, principals, and student health, and you find it easy to build trusting relationships. You are engaged and structured, attentive to students' various needs, and have the ability to see both opportunities and development paths.

Both positions are permanent full-time contracts. Start date is August 11 or by agreement.

Qualifications

• You are a licensed special educator.
• Experience working as a special educator is an advantage.
