We are looking for someone to join Borbackaskolan who is driven by challenge, joy, and good collaboration.

Our school is an F-6 school with about 150 students in the eastern part of Värnamo. The school, located in the community of Bor, was built in 1959 and renovated in 1997 to provide bright and functional premises. Adjacent to Borbackaskolan is the after-school center Gårdshuset and the secondary school Bors skola. The working climate at the school is good, and we strive for good collaboration within and between our operations, ensuring that everyone at the school, staff and students, reaches their full potential and contributes to a good social and educational working environment.

We are now looking for a substitute employee for our middle school who wants to make a difference in the students' lifelong learning. We work according to the school's curriculum, emphasize our values, and use digital tools in our work as well as pedagogical documentation. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have a strong belief in the students' competencies.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you are responsible for the educational work in one class and possibly in certain subjects in other classes, depending on how you in the work team want to distribute the subjects among yourselves. You work according to the curriculum and translate the goals into enjoyable and meaningful learning with clear structure. You pay attention to the children's needs and interests and support them in their development both intellectually and socially. All students at the school are everyone's responsibility.

Qualifications

We place great importance on personal qualities and would like you to share our values. You need to have a strong commitment and patience, be a clear leader, prioritize structure in your teaching, love children, and be willing to give of yourself to them.

• have a strong work ethic and enjoy being in a dynamic environment
• have good collaboration skills and be flexible
• enjoy and have the ability to create good relationships with students and adults
• love making a difference for our students, providing them with a solid foundation, and always valuing their potential and integrity
• have a teaching license with qualifications for grades 4-6

Previous experience working with children and youth in educational settings is an advantage. We encourage you to attach a personal letter and CV.

Conditions

We work with ongoing selection and interviews. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
