Hanahöjskolan is a F-6 school with approximately 170 students located in Forsheda, about 1.5 mil west of Värnamo.

Job Responsibilities

Welcome to apply for the position of substitute teacher in after-school care for the F-3 team/Pralinens after-school care at Hanahöjskolan.

Qualifications

We are looking for an engaged and professional teacher in after-school care (F-3) who has teacher training with qualifications for after-school care, preferably with qualifications in music, and who has a good understanding of the school’s mission as well as strong pedagogical skills.

You will work on planning and implementing high-quality teaching based on the curriculum for after-school care and possibly music.

You are confident in your pedagogical leadership and have the ability to create structure, calm, and motivation based on each student’s individual needs. Experience working with younger children is an advantage, and you have a genuine interest in following the students’ academic and social development.

In the role of teacher in after-school care, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to the curriculum while adapting it to the students’ different conditions. You will work with a low-affect approach and have an easy time building trusting relationships with both students and colleagues.

You see guardians as important partners and communicate in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.

It is important that you take responsibility, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy working both independently and together with others.

We are looking for someone who is positive, engaged, and creative, and who is flexible and attentive in your interactions. You have a clear pedagogical and relational approach, see opportunities in everyday challenges, and have high expectations for all students’ ability to learn, develop, and succeed.
