Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer position as a treatment assistant at SiS.

The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth to new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you will help ensure that the routines in the department function as they should. You play a significant role in the stability and safety of our youth and clients, providing the foundation for daily life such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. You contribute to maintaining safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building good treatment relationships and help ensure that our youth and clients receive the security and safety they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule of day - evening and weekend or night shifts.

As a summer temp at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

You should have:

• At least a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.
• Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work in psychiatry or LSS care.
• Driver's license B.
• Good Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience from client-facing positions in the Prison and Probation Service, e.g., correctional officer.
• Experience working with our target group (youth care).

Your personal suitability is key to life-changing transformation. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is having a solid positive view of humanity, a high level of empathy, and the ability to create good treatment relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.

Exceptions from the requirement for at least a two-year post-secondary education can be made in individual cases, if there are special reasons according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468).

Employment

The position is a temporary employment/seasonal employment.

Temporary employment during spring and autumn 2026 and summer temp from June to August 2026.

Start date by agreement.
