Do you want to make a difference for children and young people in a municipality in Jönköping County? We are now looking for an experienced social worker for an independent consulting assignment within authority exercise.

👉 Your assignment

You will be responsible for independently handling and investigating cases concerning children and young people (0–20 years). The work includes child welfare investigations according to SoL and, if necessary, LVU, where you will make structured assessments, analyze needs, and propose appropriate interventions.

You will work according to BBIC and ensure legally secure and clear documentation in the operational system. In this role, you will collaborate with children, guardians, and relevant partners and may follow up on open interventions as needed.

You will contribute your experience and security in complex cases and be well-versed in current legislation.

Must-have requirements

• Degree in social work
• Training in BBIC and documented experience of working and documenting according to BBIC
• At least 7 years of documented experience in authority exercise concerning children and young people
• Have worked with authority exercise in the field for the last 5 years
• Experience with Pulsen Combine
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Well-versed in current legislation (SoL, LVU, etc.)
• Driving license B
• Desirable
• Experience in following up on open interventions
• Previous consulting assignments within municipal social services
• Experience working in a smaller municipal organization

📍 Scope

Full-time, working hours 08:00–17:00 with some flexibility.

The work is primarily performed on-site in the operations of a municipality in Jönköping County, with the possibility of remote work up to about two days a week based on the needs of the operations.

📅 Assignment period

2026-03-16 – 2026-06-12.

Possibility of extension may exist.
