We are looking for a senior social worker for elderly care. The elderly care department is part of the adult authority, which consists of 13 social workers working with elderly care, harmful use and addiction, social psychiatry, LSS, and domestic violence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a senior social worker, you are an easily accessible support in daily operations and play a central role in creating safety, structure, and quality in the assignment. You work closely with both colleagues and management to create good conditions for professional social work.

Your role includes:

• providing leadership and support to social workers
• ensuring that the work maintains good quality and complies with legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
• being available during difficult meetings and providing support in complex cases.
• helping the team prioritize during high workloads
• some case management is included in the position.

The workgroup consists of 5 social workers and one senior social worker.

Recruitment may occur on an ongoing basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has

• a degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• a valid driver's license (Category B)
• several years of experience in public authority operations.
• good knowledge of the area and applicable legislation.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in development work and leadership.
