About us

Oasen HVB is a treatment and assessment home for children. Oasen HVB is located just outside Aneby in Jönköping County. There is room for 21 children, usually aged around 7-13 years. Neuropsychiatric diagnoses and traumatic experiences are common among the children who come to Oasen. We are now looking for summer substitutes and would love to meet you if you are in training or have a degree as a treatment or social pedagogue, or if you have other training or experience relevant to the target group.

About the role

Your main tasks include:

• Planning and implementing daily routines and activities

• Activities with children

• Care of children

• Documentation

• Treatment work based on clarifying pedagogy, low-affect responses, trauma-informed approaches, conversations, and social and emotional skills training.

The work varies during daytime, evenings, and weekends. Salary is according to agreement, and other compensations are according to collective agreements. Start date is according to agreement, but we would like you to be introduced to the organization during the spring.

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, and secure. In this role, it is important that you show great empathy while having the ability to set boundaries when needed. The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, so you have good communication and collaboration skills. We place great importance on personal suitability and maturity. A criminal record check will be required before employment for work at HVB homes.

To apply for the position, you must:

• Be trained as or have a degree in social pedagogy, social work, treatment pedagogy, or have another completed post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent

• Have experience in treatment work

• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

• Have good system skills as documentation is required

• Have a B driver's license
