The current position is, during the first school year, a combined role as a counselor and school social worker - two roles that go hand in hand in many ways and that we will shape together based on actual student needs - the same applies to the content of the role as Djupadal School grows.

You will work health-promoting, preventive, and remedial based on the decided assignment description for your profession. Through the cross-professional collaboration in EHT, we support students' development towards the goals of education and contribute to creating accessible learning environments.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Contributing a psychosocial perspective in the health-promoting and preventive work of student health.
• Participating in the school's values and equal treatment work and contributing to the systematic quality work. Planning and implementing initiatives aimed at classes, guardians, and school staff.
• Conducting social mapping and observations/interventions at group and individual levels.
• Providing consultation and guidance to school management and staff.
• Offering counseling support to students with psychosocial issues related to the school situation. Initiating and participating in reports to social services.
• Working to promote school attendance.
• Providing advice and support to guardians.
• Conducting school social investigations with psychosocial questions.
• Collaborating with school staff, other professionals in student health, and external actors such as BUP, social services, habilitation, and police.
• Coordinating the work of student health at the unit.
• Contributing to the development journey of Djupadal School.

Your Qualifications

You who are applying are a trained social worker with experience from the school world. You can initially consider a shared role as a counselor and school social worker. You are a team player who puts the organization before yourself and wants to help develop the school over time. You stand firm in change processes, prioritize wisely in complex situations, and maintain focus even when everything is not yet in place. Through consistent and professional behavior based on shared frameworks, you contribute to safety and trust among students, colleagues, and guardians. You share ideas and new perspectives in the right forum and build strong relationships in a new school environment.
