Personal Assistant for Young Woman in Vetlanda

Do you want to work closely with a person and contribute to making everyday life function in a safe and meaningful way? We are now looking for a personal assistant for a young woman living centrally in Vetlanda. She has reduced mobility and needs support in her daily life with personal hygiene, care, and delegated health and medical tasks. Transfers are done with a lift, and she uses an electric wheelchair that she operates herself. She enjoys walks in all weather, playing games, and gardening – and you as an assistant will be an important part of creating structure and continuity in her days.

The work involves both day and evening shifts as well as sleeping on-call duty. You will be a practical and present support and need to be secure, calm, and attentive in your approach. Anxiety issues are present, which makes it valuable if you have experience with this or other previous experience in assistance work. Medication delegation is an important part of the assignment.

As a personal assistant, you work closely with another person and together create the conditions for a functioning and stable everyday life. It is a role that requires attentiveness, respect, and the ability to meet both calm moments and more demanding situations.

Qualifications

• We prefer that you have training as a personal assistant, nursing assistant, or have studied child and leisure.
• Experience working as a personal assistant or in healthcare and social care is an advantage.
• Criminal record extract.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
