Do you want to work in a group home where safety, structure, and participation are at the center? Kantarellvägen's group home is newly established and targets individuals with autism diagnoses or autism-like conditions. Since autism can affect language, communication, and cognition in various ways, it is important that we create an adapted environment that meets each individual's needs.

Autism is a spectrum, which means it can manifest in many different ways depending on the individual's conditions and strengths. To provide the best possible support and quality of life for the residents, we work with clear structures and adapted environments.

The group home has six apartments and is located in a nature-friendly area with good opportunities for recovery and activity. Here, as an employee, you will be part of a team that works to create a safe and predictable everyday life for the residents.

As a support assistant, your tasks will include providing support in the users' daily lives and contributing to a meaningful existence based on their individual needs. You will assist with daily activities, communication, and social interaction, as well as encourage independence and participation. You will plan and implement meaningful activities and collaborate closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to see the whole picture of the user's needs.

We are looking for someone who is calm, flexible, and secure in their professional role. You have a genuine desire to work with people and create safety and stability in your interactions with others.

The positions are permanent employment at 80 percent with the possibility of flexible hours.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or has studied child and leisure.
  • A driving license and experience working with individuals with autism is an advantage.
  • We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
