Treatment Pedagogue for HVB Home in Mullsjö

We are now looking for a treatment pedagogue for our HVB home in Mullsjö. Here we offer care and treatment for individuals with harmful use and dependence in combination with mental health issues. Our unit in Mullsjö has around 30 care places that cater to both men and women with comorbidity.

The Assignment and Your Role

Your area of responsibility includes qualified care and motivational work where we build secure relationships for treatment and motivation towards new, less risky ways of living. As a treatment pedagogue, you have a significant responsibility for the daily work with our residents, and together with other staff, you are a role model and responsible for creating safety, stability, and order in our living environment. You need to be comfortable supporting activities and treatment interventions. You will work both in a team and independently.

Documentation is a natural part of everyday work, as well as collaboration with various actors, both internally and externally.

We have a warm and respectful treatment environment, and your mission is to actively support our clients' change efforts. The working hours are mostly scheduled for shifts with sleeping on-call duty and working every other weekend.

Your Profile and Background

To succeed in this role, you are a person who stands firmly with both feet on the ground. You are an open and positive person with a good ability to listen and meet people where they are. You have the ability to motivate and inspire while also being able to set boundaries when necessary. You should be flexible while understanding the importance of maintaining routines. We believe you have previous experience working with our target group and an understanding of the issues faced by the group we meet. You are confident in yourself, enjoy working in close relationships, and are good at recognizing the need for support and conversation in the moment. You have an easy time creating energy and engagement. Since no two shifts are alike, you also need to be flexible and solution-focused as a person.

We want you to have post-secondary education in care and social services, e.g., treatment pedagogue, nursing assistant, or alternatively another equivalent education and experience as assessed by us. Further education or courses in areas such as ACT, MI, Relapse Prevention, NADA, Yoga, Mindfulness, etc., are meritorious.

This position is a temporary contract with immediate start or according to agreement, with the possibility of extension. A manual B driver's license is required for the position.
