Description

Exposkolan is a school for grades 4–6 with approximately 260 students distributed across 12 classes.

Our learning environments are open and bright, and the classrooms have flexible solutions to meet today’s demands for digital teaching and can be adapted to the individual needs of each student. The school is technology and IT-oriented, and we work with a one-to-one solution where all students are provided with their own iPad.

Responsibilities

In preparation for the fall, we are expanding our special education team with a special educator. You will be part of the EHT and our special education team, where you will be responsible for assessments and the establishment of action plans, as well as teaching within special support in one of our grade levels. You will work together with the school's other staff to provide the best conditions for the students' learning. You will work closely with both students and colleagues and have a central role in planning and organizing the work around students in need of special support. You will be part of the school's student health team (EHT). There, we drive the development work around the school's student health plan and quality work related to the school's prioritized goals. Primarily through promoting and preventive measures, you will collectively ensure that the student health efforts contribute to the students' achievement of their goals.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have qualifications as a special educator. It is an advantage if you have experience working with students in need of special support and have a teaching degree with experience in basic literacy and numeracy instruction.

We are looking for a person who is organized, has high social competence, is solution-focused, and can easily adapt to changing needs. We would like you to attach a personal letter and CV.
