Your new job

At Ljungarum School District F-6, we are looking for a Lead Teacher with good competence and a strong interest in developing an accessible learning environment for all our students throughout the school day. As a Lead Teacher at Ljungarum School F-6, you will be a driving force in development and pedagogical issues and play a key role in leading collegial learning. You will primarily work with teaching and tasks related to teaching. You will initiate and drive projects aimed at improving the quality of teaching. You will be a good role model and ambassador for the activities across the entire school district.

You will work systematically to plan, implement, follow up, analyze, and thereby improve teaching and develop the activities. Teaching will be permeated by language-developing working methods and accessible learning, as these are fundamental to students' learning and development.

As a Lead Teacher at Ljungarum School District F-6, you will be part of a group of other Lead Teachers who, together with the school leadership, drive the work to develop the pedagogical activities and initiate projects that strengthen students' learning, safety, and well-being. Your assignment also involves being a driving force in the systematic quality work based on your own experience and scientific evidence. Another part of your assignment is to be a mentor for new educators.

Ljungarum School District F-6 is located in the southern part of Jönköping. The school district consists of Ljungarum School F-6 and Strömsberg School F-3. In total, the Ljungarum School District has approximately 350 students, and the staff consists of approximately 60 people. At Ljungarum School, there are approximately 250 students in grades F-6. Ljungarum School F-6 also has a special activity in the form of communication classes.

Your competence

You have worked as a licensed teacher for at least four years. As a Lead Teacher, you collaborate well with management, develop shared leadership in the workplace, and are a good ambassador for both the workplace and the principal authority. You are flexible and can work in different work teams and municipality-wide. Basic IT competence is a requirement, and you use ICT as a natural part of teaching.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

The assignment is an appointment for three years, where you have a permanent position as a teacher as a base.
