Per Brahegymnasiet (PB) is a school that is innovative and forward-thinking, yet also rests on a historical foundation and cherishes its traditions. We care for each other and work to create a workplace where we all thrive and develop. The school has about 1500 students and 150 employees and is beautifully located in the heart of Jönköping. The upper secondary programs we offer are EK, ES, IB, NA, and SA. The school is organized into four principal areas with shared support functions.

Your new job

You will teach Spanish and another subject. The position includes mentorship and participating in, and being responsible for, the tasks within program workgroups and pedagogical development groups. You will largely plan and implement the educational activities together with colleagues and students. In this, you and your colleagues will encourage students to take their own initiatives and responsibility for their learning.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree and teaching certification for upper secondary school in Spanish and another subject. You find it easy to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great importance on the ability to see opportunities for improvement and development in our operations, as well as a curiosity to test new working methods and approaches. The municipality of Jönköping uses several learning platforms, so you are also expected to have experience and knowledge in handling ICT tools.

Good to know

The position is a fixed-term employment for the academic year 26/27.
