Description

Åtteråsskolan is an F-3 school located in a picturesque environment with approximately 240 students distributed across four grades from preschool to grade 3.

We work in age-homogeneous groups from preschool to grade 3. In preschool, there are three parallel classes, and grades 1, 2, and 3 have two parallel classes.

The educators are organized in a co-teaching system, where two educators with varying degrees of employment share the responsibility for a class. Working in a co-teaching system, with instruction based on six teaching forms, provides greater security for both educators and students. It also contributes to an improved study environment for the students. The co-teaching system has proven to promote an inclusive classroom climate. Through the co-teaching system, we can support students in various teaching situations, improve our students' chances of achieving their goals, create multiple learning environments, and reduce gaps in the classroom. Even in our after-school care departments, two educators work together. Each grade has two educators from an after-school care department collaborating with a grade, and together they belong to a work team. In preschool, three educators are assigned to each class, and an additional educator distributes their class teacher duties across the three classes.

Job Responsibilities

You will work as a teacher at the school in grades F-3, where we operate in a co-teaching system. You and your teaching colleague are both responsible teachers who instruct in whole classes, larger or smaller groups, and individually. You will be part of a work team where you together lead and develop the educational work towards the goals in the curriculum. The position is adapted based on the school's and students' needs and your qualifications. You are well-versed in the governing documents and plan your teaching accordingly. You have a strong interest in using modern technology in teaching. In Gislaveds municipality, we use tablets as a natural part of the educational work in primary school.

• You are a certified primary school teacher F-3 and work systematically to improve students' conditions to achieve maximum goal fulfillment.
• You are knowledgeable about working with additional adaptations.
• You are flexible regarding both content and working hours. All to meet our students in the best way.
• You are clear, organized, well-structured, attentive, and most importantly - a team player.
• You are engaged in your assignment and passionate about guiding students in their development both academically and socially.
• You have a good ability to create positive relationships with students and guardians.
• You enjoy leading and/or driving development issues, promoting new ideas and thoughts with your colleagues that move Åtteråsskolan forward.
• You are solution-oriented and have the ability to create a positive atmosphere and a good working environment.
