Recreation Teacher at Bränningeskolan

Bränningeskolan is a single-parallel F-6 school with approximately 170 students for the upcoming school year. The school has a high level of satisfaction among both students and staff, characterized by a strong sense of community and qualified personnel. We have about 25 employees at Bränningeskolan.

We want everyone at the school, both children and adults, to feel safe and respected and to experience a good learning environment. We aim for an education where our students experience an environment characterized by safety and focus on studies.

At Bränningeskolan, it is important for us to see that all students have the ability to develop in the best possible way if they are given the right conditions.

The school is located in an area close to forests and exercise trails that can be used even during school hours.

The school has two after-school care departments; Ädelstenen for students in preschool to grade 2 and Vintergatan for students in grades 3 to 6.

With us, preparation time between different assignments is a given. As a recreation teacher, your planning time is scheduled during school hours, both individually, departmentally, and jointly for both departments. Before the after-school afternoon starts, you and your colleagues also have a scheduled common preparation time.

In Habo, you can find everything from a lively center, proximity to forests, nature, and lovely swimming spots in Sweden's second-largest lake. You can easily reach Habo by bus and train.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for planning and implementing teaching based on the curriculum for after-school care together with the work team. You lead and develop the educational work and create the best possible conditions for each student.

You want to make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities and encouraging creativity and curiosity. You will show and make it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways throughout the day. During the school day, you will be present as a collaborating recreation teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed recreation teacher, has a positive outlook, and believes in the goodness of people. Understanding the value of relationships with both students and guardians as well as colleagues is likely your foremost quality. Furthermore, you are a skilled and committed recreation teacher who prioritizes the after-school care's activities.
