Prolympia - Sweden's Leading Sports School

Prolympia is Sweden's leading sports school at the primary school level. The school is independent and focuses on knowledge, safety, sports, and health – we are now looking for a new colleague who can contribute to our operations. The school is centrally located with proximity to sports arenas, Vätterstranden, and the Rosenlund area. Here, 500 students from grades 2-9 attend, and we have about 70 employees.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a teacher, you will teach Swedish and English. The teaching will primarily take place in a grade at the secondary school level. Part of your position may also involve supporting teaching through work in smaller groups and various reading-promoting initiatives. In your daily work, you will plan lessons, prepare classes, and document students' development. You actively work to stimulate all students to develop their knowledge and have the ability to adapt teaching to promote learning and good academic results. You will be part of a work team where you can exchange experiences, thoughts, and ideas that can improve your teaching and contribute to school development. The role includes being a mentor for a class.

For the right candidate, there is also the possibility of becoming a lead teacher, depending on experience and profile.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree from a teacher education program with a teaching license and qualifications to teach Swedish. A background check regarding work in schools and preschools is required for employment.
