We are a school for grades 7-9 with approximately 200 students. Forsheda School is beautifully located on the outskirts of the small community of Forsheda, right next to the Småland meadows and forests. Together, we create a school where students' curiosity, teachers' professionalism, and the joy of learning permeate every day.

Your main mission as a special teacher is to strengthen the pedagogical development work for accessible teaching, increased teaching quality, and higher goal fulfillment at the school. You will work with guidance, organizational development, and student health work based on our students' needs.

You will work health-promoting, preventive, and remedial based on the approved assignment description for your profession, but also in the overall development of Forsheda School's organization, working methods, and approaches.

Primarily, we will shape your new assignment together based on your skills and experience, and above all, based on our students' needs. Specific parts that may be included in your assignment are:

• Responsible for the school's systematic work with screening, analysis, interventions, and follow-up.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate special education based on in-depth group and individual levels.
• Provide advice and support to school staff and guardians as an expert.
• Conduct investigations of a student's need for special support on behalf of the principal and be responsible for action plans.
• Document in our journal systems and participate in professional networks.
• A part of the position may be allocated to the school's special education group.

Qualifications

You who are applying for the position are educated with a teaching license and preferably experienced as a special teacher. You are a team player who puts the organization before yourself and who wants to help shape and develop the school over time. You stand firm in change processes, prioritize wisely in complex situations, and maintain focus even when everything is not yet in place.

We place great importance on your ability to meet students based on their different needs and work with accessible learning environments, as well as being a positive and engaged person. It is important that you are creative, flexible, clear, and attentive. You have the ability to see opportunities in the pedagogical work and have good collaboration skills.

To be part of building our EHT and good conditions for learning for our students, you are secure in yourself, have good experiences, and broad competence. Brave enough to lead, humble enough to listen, and strong enough to stand firm when it is challenging.
