Welcome to us in the Sydväst school area! Currently, we have just over 220 students from preschool to grade 6 distributed across two smaller schools located a mile apart.

The schools are nicely situated close to nature in two smaller towns, Klockargårdskolan in Broaryd and Bureskolan in Burseryd.

We are looking for an engaged and positive craft teacher who is passionate about teaching and developing our students. You will be an important part of our school area and contribute to creating an inspiring environment.

You will use modern technology in your work with students, as we in Gislaveds municipality have tablets as a natural part of our educational work.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities are:

• be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessment/grading in both craft subjects
• create a safe and stimulating learning environment
• collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' development.
• participate in the school's development work
• take on additional assignments at the school based on the school's needs and your interests

The position will be adapted to the needs of the school and students as well as your qualifications, interests, and experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed craft teacher. You see all students and their differences as an asset and have a good ability to develop sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible, solution-focused, and enjoy collegial learning.

We are looking for someone who is proactive in promoting, preventing, and addressing issues related to students' learning and well-being.

Your role as an employee is closely linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in your own and the organization's development. For us, this means having good cooperation with your manager and colleagues, both at your own workplace and in other collaborative forums. You treat everyone with respect and kindness and take responsibility for being involved in organizational matters.

A teaching license is required for a permanent position.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment period. The position will be filled if the necessary decisions are made.
