Vallsjö School is an F-6 school located centrally in Sävsjö. The school has 2 classes per grade. There are 4 leisure departments at the school. Approximately 325 students attend the school, and about 55 staff members work there. The school has strong collegial support as we guide, challenge, and listen to each other. We put the needs of the students at the center. We are looking for someone who loves working with children and wants to make a difference. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and creative leisure teacher who wants to create meaningful leisure activities for our students in a safe and inspiring environment.

You will work together with colleagues to be responsible for one of our leisure departments. As a leisure teacher, you will take an active responsibility for planning and developing the activities. You will plan, implement, develop, and evaluate the work in the leisure center together with your colleagues in the work team. Part of your job will also involve working with school students in smaller groups, serving as resource personnel in classes, or assisting students who need extra support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a degree/teaching certification as a leisure teacher. You exercise clear leadership and work systematically according to applicable governing documents and maintain a professional approach.

OTHER

Permanent employees in Sävsjö Municipality are assigned to their regular workplace in case of war placement.

In the event of heightened readiness, war danger, or war, the employee must report to their regular workplace.

The employer has the right to relocate employees to another workplace within the Sävsjö Municipality organization if the need arises.
