Bureskolan is a school with just over 130 students from preschool class to grade 6, beautifully located near nature in the small community of Burseryd.

The school is part of the Sydvästen school area along with Klockargårdskolan in Broaryd.

You will be responsible for teaching a class together with another educator, while also being part of a team that collectively leads and develops the educational work towards the goals for our students in grades F-3. The idea is that you will follow and teach the students in the class during their remaining time in primary school to create a safe school experience for them.

You will use modern technology in your work with the students, as we in Gislaveds municipality have tablets as a natural part of the educational work. We strive to work with cooperative learning (CL), which is a way to motivate, engage, and activate students.

Responsibilities

The main responsibility consists of, together with another educator, being responsible for teaching a class in primary school. A smaller part of the teaching may be allocated to another class in the school.

You are a mentor for the students in the class. In addition, there will be some additional assignments at the school, and we all help each other to solve the tasks that exist in our organization in the school area.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher for the early years. You see all students and their differences as an asset and have a good ability to develop sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and solution-focused and thrive in a collegial learning environment. You have knowledge about students with various disabilities so that you can meet all students based on their conditions.

We are looking for someone who is proactive in the promoting, preventive, and remedial work regarding students' learning and development.

Your role as an employee is deeply connected to your ability to collaborate and participate in your and the organization's development. With us, this means that you have a good collaboration with your manager and colleagues, both in your own workplace and in the wider municipal corporation. Permanent employment can only be considered if a teaching license can be presented.
