Your new job

We are now looking for an engaged teacher in home economics combined with another subject, for grades 7-9. With us, you will have bright, modern facilities, driven colleagues, and the opportunity to truly make a difference in students' development. Your role also includes mentorship in grade 7. You will be part of both a work team and a subject team, where you will work together to create conditions for successful learning in a safe environment with good relationships.

We are proud to present Flahult School in Norrahammar, a place where learning and development go hand in hand. Here, every student is unique, and we strive to create a safe and stimulating environment where each individual can flourish and reach their full potential.

We have 440 students from grades 7 to 9. The school is located in a very nice area above Norrahammar, next to a sports and swimming hall, as well as access to football fields. Flahult School is based on the principle of home base for each grade with associated work teams.

Our school strives to be a leader in preventive values-based work with close collaboration between educators and teachers focused on after-school care, special education teachers, and student health teams. Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a teaching license, alternatively a candidate who has not yet received their teaching license or is at the end of their education and qualified in home economics and another subject for grades 7-9. All experience will be considered.

You are flexible, engaged, and have a great interest in educating and developing young people based on their conditions. You have an interest in knowledge and digitalization methods to enhance your teaching. You are confident in your leadership and are a good role model. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate, but also take your own initiatives and make your own decisions in your work situation. We see it as an advantage if you have experience in teaching and working with students.

In addition, you are well-grounded in the primary school's mission and its governing documents and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. You also have basic IT skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
