If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will be assigned a mentor to help you get a good start in your career.

Preschool Slottet is located in the Grevhagen area in Eksjö town, close to both forest, city, and the Grevhagsskolan primary school.

Slottet Preschool has three departments. Adjacent to the preschool are forest areas that are used for play and exploration every week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of a preschool teacher involves a special pedagogical responsibility to plan, implement, document, and evaluate education based on the Education Act, curriculum, and operational plan.

• Provide each child with safe care and promote all children's development and learning.
• Ensure that each child has a real influence over methods and content.
• Ensure that the content, design, and implementation of development discussions align with national goals.

You contribute to creating an environment that is developing, inspiring, and challenging for the children.

Our goal at Preschool Slottet is to challenge children based on five abilities that in turn are based on the curriculum. These abilities should permeate the entire operation and are the beginning of lifelong learning: Responsibility, communication, creativity, reflection, and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher.

As a preschool teacher, you have a good understanding of the governing documents that form the basis for preschool work. You are responsible and knowledgeable about systematic quality work. You have a positive attitude, good collaboration skills, and you communicate from a solution-focused perspective in every meeting with colleagues, children, and guardians. You are open to learning from others and contribute your own knowledge and experience.

Your pedagogical relationships are based on responsiveness and dialogue.

Computer and tablet are tools we want you to be able to use in systematic quality work and see as pedagogical material when working with children.
