If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will be assigned a mentor to ensure a good start in your profession.

Stocksnäs Preschool is a preschool close to both nature and culture. It is centrally located in the Stocksnäs area, not far from the hospital. We have easy access to forests and playgrounds, and we have libraries, cinemas, museums, and much more within reach.

The preschool has three departments, making us a small and family-like preschool; a feeling that everyone knows everyone.

We work in a research-based, investigative manner and take great advantage of collaborative learning to achieve an equal education of high quality. Our goal is to offer a preschool with a learning environment that inspires, develops, and challenges children's learning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of a preschool teacher entails a special pedagogical responsibility to plan, implement, document, and evaluate education based on the Education Act, curriculum, and operational plan.

• Provide each child with safe care and promote all children's development and learning.
• Ensure that each child has real influence over methods and content.
• Ensure that the content, format, and implementation of developmental conversations align with national goals.

You contribute to optimal learning both academically and emotionally, where we together develop a working method based on the children's thoughts and hypotheses. Collaborative learning helps us create a shared understanding and consensus to enable optimal conditions for both children and staff to develop and succeed.

At Stocksnäs, we work in teams, but also in collaboration with the entire preschool, to jointly help achieve our goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher.

As a preschool teacher, you have a good understanding of the governing documents that form the basis for preschool work. You are responsible and knowledgeable about systematic quality work. You have a positive attitude, good collaboration skills, and you communicate from a solution-focused perspective in every interaction with colleagues, children, and guardians. You are open to learning from others and contribute your own knowledge and experience.

Your pedagogical relationships are based on attentiveness and dialogue.

It is natural for you to work systematically with pedagogical documentation as a tool. If you have specific competencies that are useful in teaching, we are always eager for you to share them.
