Description

Åtteråsskolan is a F-3 school located in a picturesque environment with approximately 240 students distributed across four grades from preschool to grade 3.

We work in age-homogeneous groups from preschool to grade 3. In preschool, there are three parallel classes, and grades 1, 2, and 3 have two parallel classes. The school has five after-school care departments.

Responsibilities

You will work as a primary school teacher at the school in grades 1-3 where we operate in a co-teaching system. You and your teaching colleague are both responsible teachers who instruct in whole class, larger or smaller groups, as well as individually. You will be part of a team that together leads and develops the pedagogical work towards the goals of the curriculum. The position is tailored to meet the needs of the school and students and your qualifications. You are well-versed in the governing documents and plan your teaching based on them. You have a strong interest in using modern technology in teaching. In Gislaved municipality, we use tablets as a natural part of the pedagogical work in primary school.

Part of your position will be at the school's after-school care, where you plan and lead the pedagogical work together with colleagues based on the curriculum goals for after-school care.

Qualifications

• You are a licensed primary school teacher F-3 and a teacher in after-school care.
• You have experience working in schools and/or after-school care.
• You are knowledgeable about working with special adaptations.
• You are flexible regarding content and working hours. Everything to meet our students and our operations in the best way.
• You are clear, organized, well-structured, attentive, and most importantly - a team player.
• You are committed to your role and passionate about guiding students in their development both academically and socially.
• You have a good ability to create positive relationships with students and guardians.
• You enjoy leading and/or driving development issues, promoting new ideas and thoughts with your colleagues that move Åtteråsskolan forward.
• You are solution-oriented and have the ability to create a positive atmosphere and a good working environment.
