Your New Job

You will teach wood and metal craft for grades 7-9 at Rosenlund School in Jönköping. In the autumn of 2026, you will move into newly built facilities for wood and metal craft. You will belong to a work team as well as a subject team. You will share mentorship for a class. The work requires a flexible approach, creativity, good collaboration skills, and a positive view of students.

You will work in an engaged team with good opportunities to influence and develop the teaching. You will plan and implement teaching in wood and metal craft according to the curriculum, and follow up on students' knowledge development in collaboration with colleagues. You will create a safe, secure, and inspiring learning environment where students can develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge.

Rosenlund School is centrally located in the eastern districts of Jönköping and is a miniature world. We are proud of our diversity and know that it enriches the entire school day. Approximately 550 students attend Rosenlund School 7-9, and 60 staff members work here. Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher or have experience and interest in teaching wood and metal craft at the secondary level. It is important that you have the ability to create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It is also important to be a good role model, have clear expectations of students, and be proactive and driven in the educational work. You have the ability to see students' different needs, consider their individual circumstances, and help students grow and develop to achieve good results. Being confident in the teaching role and feeling pride in your work are also important qualities. Personal suitability is highly valued. Basic IT skills are a requirement.
