Welcome to apply for a fixed-term position as a preschool teacher located at the Expo preschool area in Värnamo. At our preschools, we work with the competent child in focus and have faith in the child's own and unique abilities. We work with an approach that for us means that children learn through encounters with other children, adults, materials, and environments. The working method is based on offering all children an activity with varied teaching in many different ways and in many different contexts. Our changing learning environments lead to increased opportunities for learning and influence for the children. We have a strong curriculum focus and care about our joint systematic quality work and our positions.

Tasks

As a preschool teacher, you have a unique opportunity to influence the conditions for each child's development through an exploratory and creative approach. By being present and curious about what the children are interested in, you can contribute to creating developmental learning environments.

You have a pedagogical responsibility based on the curriculum's guidelines and work actively with pedagogical planning, documentation, reflection, and analysis. The work takes place in a trusting manner and in close collaboration with colleagues and parents.

At Förskolan Nyfiken (Curious Preschool), we consciously work with each pedagogue's strengths and knowledge. We stay updated and make use of relevant research, and as a preschool teacher, you get the opportunity to develop together with other preschool teachers in processes, joint reflections, and meetings. All staff are offered further training and collegial learning through dialogue cafés, pedagogical forums, and process groups.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teacher's license with eligibility for preschool and good insight into the preschool's mission and curriculum. You have a pedagogical perspective that combines professional care and teaching. You are clear and solution-oriented and have the ability to create engagement and job satisfaction. Knowledge and experience of working with children who challenge a bit extra is necessary. We attach great importance to personal suitability.

Terms

We work with ongoing selection and interviews. The position will be filled subject to the required decisions being made.

Department of Children and Education. Our department is responsible for preschools, primary schools, high schools, adult education, and cultural schools in the municipality.
