We at Hjortsjöskolan are currently seeking a dedicated teacher for Spanish instruction.

To increase upper secondary school eligibility and student attendance, we have a special focus on subject-didactic collegiality (ÄDK), working through learning, leadership, and stimulation, as well as adopting a salutogenic approach. We are looking for someone who, together with us, wants to develop our school and make a difference for our students.

Hjortsjöskolan 7-9 is centrally located in Vaggeryd and has over 350 students. We work according to a vision where safety and knowledge are important pillars, and the work team is seen as a common resource in clear teamwork. Collaborative learning is an important part of school development to achieve goals for every student to develop both socially and academically. RESPONSIBILITIES

The assignment involves teaching Spanish (approx. 50%), where mentoring may also be relevant. You will plan, conduct, and evaluate your pedagogical work in accordance with the current curriculum and governing documents, as well as perform other duties common to the profession.

We work to ensure all children feel responsibility, show respect and consideration for people and the environment. We aim to offer a meaningful activity from the moment the student arrives in the morning until they leave home. To succeed, it is required that every employee, from their specific role, collaborates with others to make the whole function and for the school's "WE" to grow!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good competencies who is interested in learning and school development. We expect you to meet challenges and pedagogical questions in an open and innovative way and contribute your competencies to the entire team. In the classroom, you are a clear pedagogical leader who creates trust, engagement, safety, and accessibility. You are expected to work from a subject-didactic approach; you will receive an introduction and training in this upon starting.

Collaborating and establishing good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and external actors is a natural part of your role. You document and follow up on each student and maintain continuous dialogue with students, subject teachers, mentors, and guardians.

You must be a licensed teacher with eligibility to teach Spanish. We place great importance on your personal skills.

OTHER INFORMATION
