Holavedsgymnasiet is currently seeking an engaged Mathematics and Science (MA/NO) teacher with qualifications for grades 7–9, primarily for teaching on introductory programs. We are looking for someone who wants to help develop and ensure the quality of education for some of the school's most important students – those who need flexible, individually adapted paths towards further studies or employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role involves teaching students primarily on the introductory programs at Holavedsgymnasiet at the upper secondary level in mathematics and science, though teaching in mathematics and natural sciences on national programs may also be relevant. You will provide support and stimulation based on students' specific conditions and promote their development. You will work closely with your colleagues to advance the teaching for the group. Responsibilities include standard duties for the profession, such as mentoring.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Mathematics and Science (MA/NO) for grades 7–9, preferably with qualifications for mathematics and natural sciences at the upper secondary level. Previous experience working with introductory programs (IM) or student groups with diverse backgrounds is considered an advantage.

Holavedsgymnasiet is a school with approximately 800 students, offering a wide range of both vocational and academic programs. The school also includes introductory programs and adapted upper secondary education. Located in central Tranås, the school offers proximity to various activities and good commuting options.
