Nyhemsskolan is a K-6 school with approximately 450 students. The school is centrally located in Nässjö, close to forests, city parks, and other green areas. We believe that a good school starts with educators who possess strong subject knowledge, build great relationships with students, and hold high expectations that everyone can and wants to succeed. This is how we want Nyhemsskolan to be experienced. RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our ambitious, helpful, and knowledgeable Year 4-6 teaching team. We are missing a certified teacher, preferably one who teaches mathematics. Together with your colleagues, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate teaching based on the national curriculum and the school's other governing documents. We seek someone who is clear, calm, and has a positive attitude. You should possess strong subject knowledge, use a formative approach, and easily build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You have the ability to create engaged students and a conducive learning atmosphere in the classroom. Your teaching is modern and creative, aiming to reach students and find strategies to strengthen them both academically and in their personal development.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a certified teacher. You are a person who brings enthusiasm, energy, and passion to your work. You take responsibility and have a strong ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. You recognize students' diverse needs, consider their individual prerequisites, and help students grow and develop. You have a structured working method where you plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks efficiently.
