We are now looking for a SQL Server Platform Engineer for an assignment with our client in the banking sector. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a business-critical environment where the database infrastructure is a central part of the operations.

You will be part of an experienced team responsible for the bank's standardized SQL Server platform. The environment is characterized by high technical competence and a strong focus on stable operation, security, and continuous improvement of the platform.

In this role, you will work both operationally and developmentally – from operations and troubleshooting to further developing and automating the platform through scripting and improved workflows. You will also have the opportunity to influence how the SQL platform evolves and contribute to streamlining work through automation and smart solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, manage, and further develop the bank's standardized SQL Server platform

• Be responsible for the operation of the internal SQL hotel environment

• Work with automation and development of tools using PowerShell and T-SQL

• Participate in incident and problem management as third-line support

• Troubleshoot and optimize SQL environments

• Contribute to developing routines, workflows, and automation around SQL

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with good experience in management, administration, or development within Microsoft SQL Server and who thrives in an environment where operations, stability, and improvement work are in focus.

You have a good technical understanding and are used to taking responsibility, driving initiatives, and solving problems independently.

We would like you to have experience with:

• Microsoft SQL Server

• Operation and administration of database environments

• PowerShell

• Linux scripting

• VMware

• Troubleshooting and incident management in complex environments

• Working according to ITIL processes

• Tools like JIRA

Since the role involves collaboration with several parts of the organization, you need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
