The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who together work to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sandeklevsskolan in Bergsjön has about 300 students from preschool to grade 9 and an after-school program. The school has good transport links with trams 7 and 11, which stop at Teleskopgatan, while being close to large green areas. We are now looking for a certified teacher for grades F-3 on a temporary contract for a colleague who will go on parental leave.

In the role of teacher F-3, you will be part of a teaching team where time is allocated for jointly developing teaching and leadership in the classroom. As a teacher with us, you find it fun, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students who are in second language development and give each student the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities.

Together with your colleagues, you create conditions for students' knowledge development to achieve the curriculum's goals. You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. You take responsibility for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development. You take your own initiatives and maintain clear leadership in the classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher for grades F-3 with broad subject competence. You have a positive view of people and the ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

As a teacher with us, you find it fun, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students who are in second language development and give each student the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities. You are clear and concise in your communication and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to absorb new knowledge. You can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have good knowledge of ICT as a pedagogical tool since we use iPads, interactive screens, document cameras, etc.
