We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. JOB DESCRIPTION

Torslandaskolan 7-9 is a school with about 530 students in grades 7-9. Torslandaskolan F-6 and Noleredskolan F-6 are also part of the school area. Our area also includes an adapted primary school for students in grades 4-9 as well as a special education group with students with various disabilities. There is an opportunity to teach throughout our school area. Torslandaskolan is a "one-to-one" school where all students and teachers have a computer. Our beautiful school was completed in the autumn term of 2013.

You are part of our student health team, which works closely with a health-promoting and preventive approach where we see student health as a concern for the entire school. In your role, you have a particular responsibility for developing the school's mathematics teaching together with our teachers so that all students can achieve as much as possible. In collaboration with special teachers and special educators, you are responsible for conducting assessments to identify students' needs, carrying out investigations for special support, and establishing action plans. You will work with several digital systems, including Vklass, which is the school's learning platform.

You contribute to developing the learning environment and support teachers in teaching that is adapted to students' different conditions and benefits all students' learning. The position also includes targeted support for students with difficulties in mathematics.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained special teacher with a specialization in mathematics development.

Currently, all teachers at the school participate in practice-based research. The student health team also meets with all teachers in student health meetings based on a clear structure that is based on a salutogenic perspective. In your role as a special teacher, you create motivation around learning. You see collaboration with colleagues and home as very important and as a prerequisite for a quality operation.
