The children in Kungälv municipality's preschools benefit from a playful and joyful education based on democratic values. We challenge the children and lay the foundation for lifelong learning in a safe and stimulating environment.

We are now in need of preschool teachers who are interested in longer temporary positions within the preschool operations in Kungälv municipality.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be part of the daily care of children aged 1–5 years. You will work to create good care, support in routine situations, and ensure safety for all children. Working hours will vary between 6 AM and 6 PM on weekdays.

You are a role model for the children and support them in their play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

Together with your colleagues and the children in the preschool, you will work and follow the operational guidelines where we place a strong focus on children's learning and development.

It is important to us that you contribute to creating a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment for each child as well as the entire group of children.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has a focus on the children. You see opportunities, are curious and creative, and strive for high quality in your work. You can work both independently and in a team, are responsible, can take initiative, and have good structure in your work. You enjoy being challenged, thinking innovatively, discussing, reflecting, and developing together with your colleagues. You collaborate for a good work environment. You create safety and have an easy time communicating with children, guardians, and colleagues.

To be considered for this recruitment, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be an educated preschool teacher and able to present a license
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• Good knowledge of mobile and computer use
• Be able to work varying hours between 6 AM and 6 PM on weekdays
• Can present a valid extract from the criminal record

If you have previously held a position in Kungälv municipality, internal references will be taken. For those who are not citizens of the EU/EES area, a work permit is required; this does not apply to those with permanent residency. The work permit must be presented at the interview.
