JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Önnered School is a K-9 school located in a scenic area with close access to forests and the sea, in the western part of Gothenburg. Our school has nearly a thousand students, with about 200 in grades K-3. We are now looking for a teacher for K-3 or a preschool teacher for one of our preschool classes.

As a teacher with us, you will conduct teaching focused on language development and student participation. You will find strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth. Your mission is to stimulate students' development and learning and prepare them for further education. Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents and the needs and interests of the students, both individually and together with your team. You will collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff and actively participate in the school's development work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated and certified teacher for grades K-3 or a preschool teacher with qualifications in Swedish and mathematics. If you have additional qualifications in natural sciences and/or social studies or physical education, that is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience working as a teacher is also an advantage, but we welcome newly graduated teachers as well.

The introduction provides you with a network of other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
