The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class to grade nine, adapted primary schools, culture schools, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Önnered School is a K-9 school located in a scenic area with close access to forest and sea, in the western part of Gothenburg. Our school has nearly a thousand students, and about 200 of them are in grades K-3. We are now looking for a teacher for after-school care for grades K-3.

As a teacher in after-school care, you will help develop the after-school activities for our students. You will collaborate with the teachers in the class during the school day and be an important link between school and after-school care. In cooperation with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical work in the student group in after-school care based on applicable governing documents and planned activities. Your work with the team gives students the opportunity for development and learning. You promote participation and influence and offer a meaningful leisure time for our students.

During the school day, you are an important complement to physical education and work to offer health-promoting, varied, and fun breaks for the students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher in after-school care, preferably with a focus on sports and health. You also have experience working in school operations (grades K-3), and we hope you have an interest in movement and outdoor activities.

Personal competencies:
We are looking for someone who has a good demeanor and shows respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You are flexible and can easily adapt your work methods based on changing conditions and new information.

You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and create conditions for learning to take place. You are structured and establish clear goals and plan activities and projects in good time.
