Your assignment
You will be part of a team in the national programs at Karlbergsgymnasiet that runs an adapted upper secondary school. We currently have programs for property and construction, hotel, restaurant, and bakery, and trade and administration. You will work closely with teachers and student assistants who work across subjects both theoretically and practically. As a teacher, you will conduct work that places students' learning and development at the center. We want to see that you are a person who is responsive to the individual needs of the student and can challenge the student in their knowledge development based on our governing documents. You should have a clear student focus when you, together with other staff and management, organize, drive, and develop teaching and programs. Your commitment and clarity in the role of teacher are of great importance to the employer as you take on the assignment.

Who are you
For this assignment, we see that you can work both independently and collaboratively with others. Having initiative and a positive attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues is a given for us. For this assignment, personal competencies and qualities are highly valued.

Formal qualifications
- Educated special teacher, specializing in intellectual disabilities, or started/intends to start training as a special teacher, specializing in intellectual disabilities. Teacher certification with authorization to teach subjects.
- Good AAC competence
- Digital identification with Bank ID
- Employment requires that you have a B driver's license

Meritorious
- Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities.

Employment
Permanent employment at 100% with start date 2025-08-11. The employment may begin with a probationary period and is subject to necessary decisions being made.
In your role as a teacher, you will be employed in the adapted school within the Culture and Education Administration, which is organized directly under the Culture and Education Committee. The nearest manager is Charlotte Bring, principal.
