RESPONSIBILITIES

As a cultural developer, you will play a key role in coordinating and developing the cultural life in Boden. You will be part of the management team for the culture unit along with the cultural manager, operational leaders for the library, Defense Museum, Boden Art Hall, and Rödbergsfortet.

You will work both strategically to develop plans and formulate goals, as well as operationally with meetings, dialogues, workshops, and your own events. Another important part of your work is to promote the local cultural life by managing and distributing support to cultural associations and other cultural actors. Your work will also include providing guidance on how to form associations and what cultural grants are available to apply for.

Your work also includes:

• Some marketing.
• Financial administration and archiving.

QUALIFICATIONS

Academic education in the cultural field or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral.

Preferred

It is preferred if you have experience in cultural administration, association activities, and have worked within a politically governed organization.
