Group Manager for the ATK Section

Are you ready for a bigger challenge?

The Swedish Police Authority is Sweden's largest authority with approximately 40,000 employees, organized into seven police regions, several national departments, and a secretariat. The authority is undergoing extensive growth that will continue in the coming years to meet future challenges. Working for the police means creating safety in people's lives. Every day.

Police Region North is the largest region in terms of area. The region consists of the four northernmost counties in Sweden and is organized into four police areas: Jämtland, Norrbotten, Västerbotten, and Västernorrland. Furthermore, there are three regional units: the operational unit, the intelligence unit, and the investigation unit, a regional secretariat, as well as national departments represented in the region.

The mission of the operational unit is to actively support local police areas, police areas, and units in their core mission. This is done by developing and providing specialist capabilities that enhance operational effectiveness in addressing the region's issues.

The Automatic Traffic Safety Control (ATK) system is a shared responsibility between the Swedish Transport Administration and the Police. The Transport Administration is responsible for establishing, operating, and maintaining the measurement stations. The Police, in turn, are responsible for investigating the speed violations recorded by the measurement stations. The section has a national responsibility for the country's traffic safety cameras.

We are now looking for someone interested in becoming the group manager for the ATK section, based in Kiruna.
