About the Position
The Swedish Armed Forces' Technical and Maintenance Office Logistics (TVK Log) is seeking two functional representatives for the Material Data section. The section operates at a central level and reports to the Headquarters.
The section is under construction, and our work has a clear goal – to ensure that the right material-related information is available for our combat units. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of establishing this important function within the Swedish Armed Forces!
Main Responsibilities
As a functional representative, you will be responsible for creating the right conditions for the combat units, enabling them to access relevant information and make well-founded decisions.
In this role, you will lead projects and working groups, follow up on operations, specify training requirements, and IT services within the area of material data. You will prepare writings and operational regulations, as well as develop methods, process flows, and routines. The work is carried out in close collaboration within the unit and together with other units as well as the Headquarters and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration.
Requirements
Qualifications
- University or college education or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent and relevant
- Relevant knowledge of basic and management data, master, material, or logistics data
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Driving license B

As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills while being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, driven, and take your own initiatives. The position requires good analytical skills and a well-developed ability to see connections. You are communicative, pedagogical, and easily absorb information and deepen your knowledge. You will have significant responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires you to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
Meritorious
- Relevant work experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration
- Current knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' processes, any of the following: material and supply management, material disposal, material production, material maintenance, IT processes, export control, and/or managing master data
- Documented experience and knowledge of any of the following systems: Lift, PRIO (SAP), and/or Teamcenter
- Documented experience in project management
Other
The position is a permanent full-time civilian employment. A six-month probationary period applies for those who are not already permanently employed within the Swedish Armed Forces.
Work location: Boden, Arboga, Stockholm
Travel in the service may occur.
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
Work samples may be conducted during the recruitment process.
About the Unit
TVK Log is a central player in the logistics management of the Swedish Armed Forces. The unit consists of approximately 120 employees with broad expertise in technology, logistics, and management. TVK Log mainly consists of civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The management is located in Boden, but we are represented in several locations across the country. Our work is based on trust, collaboration, and a clear mission – to enable available combat units through the right material at the right time.
