The municipality of Arjeplog is looking for a meticulous and communicative accounting assistant.

In the role of accounting assistant, you will work broadly with financial administration and be an important part of the organization's finance function.

As an accounting assistant, you will have a varied role where you work with daily bookkeeping such as coding, reconciliations, and are responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable, etc. Your placement will be at the finance office.

Examples of tasks:

• Accounts payable and receivable
• Handling of incoming and outgoing payments
• Reconciliations and ongoing bookkeeping
• Administrative finance-related tasks
• Contact with suppliers and internal functions

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a high school education with a focus on finance. Post-secondary education in finance is an advantage.
• Experience working as an accounting assistant or similar is an advantage.
• Experience working in the public sector is an advantage.
• Good IT skills, proficiency in the Office suite, and experience working in various IT systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, structured, methodical, and analytical.
• Personal suitability and skill in service, support, and interaction are important.
