Job Responsibilities

Do you want to work in a salutogenic environment with learning and the student at the center, together with driven educators? Then you are warmly welcome to help build our operations at Videdalsskolan!

Your main responsibilities are to develop and ensure the quality of the after-school program and short-term supervision (LSS). Furthermore, you will have some teaching responsibilities depending on your qualifications. You will work to ensure that students have the best possible development, both academically and socially, and actively influence and stimulate students to develop as far as possible to meet the knowledge requirements.

At Videdalsskolan, you will have the opportunity for development and an exciting assignment. Together with colleagues and your immediate supervisor, you will have the chance to influence the design of the operations.

You will be led by a supervisor who focuses on the learning environment for both students and teachers and works for the inclusion of every student. It is important that our employees feel involved and work in a learning environment. Videdalsskolan has a tradition of working with differences and functional variations, which we see as a strength in building an adapted primary school.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher for after-school programs, preferably with qualifications to teach music. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have experience working as a teacher in adapted primary schools and autism groups. We also prefer that you have training in AAC and TAKK. Experience with CPS is a plus.

You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills, allowing you to lead and organize your work to create good conditions and a positive learning environment for our students. Good computer skills and experience using IT in your teaching are essential for you. You are creative and can adapt your approach and pedagogical methods and techniques based on the individual student's needs or the needs of the student group. You develop the operations to be both inspiring and challenging. We expect you to see each student from a holistic perspective and have a positive view of students as well as a low-arousal approach.

As a person, you are engaged in your work and operate based on the school's values. You have good collaboration skills and create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are also resilient and handle mental stress well. You have the ability to interpret various social interactions and signals from students and work in a low-arousal manner. It is important that you find strategies to reach each student and support them in their learning and personal development. You have the ability to support students so they can achieve good results. At the same time, you act as an experienced and inspiring conversation partner in pedagogical matters for colleagues, parents, and others involved.
