The after-school center has its own adapted facilities that are sometimes used during school hours, and each department actively works with systematic quality assurance. Collaboration between the after-school center, school, and other staff is a natural and valuable part of our daily routine.

Your Role

As a teacher in the after-school program, you support children's development by creating meaningful activities and strengthening their social skills and knowledge.

At Linnéskolan, the after-school program is a natural part of the school's overall operation. This means that you will also be involved in the school's activities – for example, by:

• leading recess activities
• providing support for students during recess
• assisting in classes as needed

This creates a safe bridge between school and after-school care, provides continuity for the students, and ensures a cohesive school day.

The school is currently developing a cultural profile that will permeate the entire operation – an exciting area of development where you have the opportunity to influence.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed and qualified teacher in after-school care
• is driven to develop students' learning and well-being in close collaboration with colleagues
• is communicative, proactive, and confident in interactions with both children and adults
• has good collaboration skills and a professional approach
• has good IT skills

Experience working in after-school programs and primary schools is an advantage.

About Us

The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and can be their best. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

Linnéskolan consists of both a school for grades F-9 and after-school activities for students up to grade 6. The school has about 400 students. It is beautifully located within walking distance from the train station, making commuting by bus/train possible.
