Drottninghögsskolan is a F-6 school with about 280 students. The majority of our students have a mother tongue other than Swedish. We have “Pulse Joy” every morning with our students as an active commitment to health work where you as a teacher participate together with our students. Based on research and proven experience, we develop students' education based on the needs that exist at our school.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a driven and committed teacher who wants to help develop teaching and our pedagogical activities at Drottninghögsskolan. We are curious about your ideas, your contributions, and want to learn from your experiences on our journey forward. You will be responsible for teaching grades 4-6 and have mentoring duties. As a teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to influence the future. Together with your colleagues, you create conditions and inspire students to become their best selves. You will actively contribute to higher goal achievement at the school regarding both knowledge and democratic assignments. Together we create a school that is equitable and inclusive. Your role includes mentorship, planning, teaching, documentation, and assessment. You will develop the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents together with your colleagues and management. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a good working environment where you strengthen each student in both knowledge development and personal growth.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications for grades 4-6. In your qualification list, we see that the subjects Mathematics and Science are included. It is an advantage if you also have Swedish and Swedish as a second language.

You are accustomed to working language-developing, have experience teaching mathematics and science in middle school, and actively follow research and development. You have experience in making quality and equity visible, what is done, why, and what it leads to. By planning, following up, analyzing, documenting, and developing education, you create and share knowledge about what leads to higher goal achievement. For you, modern technology is a natural choice in your role as an educator, and you use digital tools for knowledge-seeking, communication, creation, and learning. You have a good ability to create structure and security in the classroom and see opportunities instead of obstacles by being solution-focused. By having a conscious approach, you create security, trust, and good relationships. You are skilled at seeing both the individual student's and the class's needs and opportunities.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
