What do we offer you?

At Litteraturförskolan Metropol, stories and literature are at the center.

Learning in the world of stories is the foundation of our education and teaching. We use books, stories, and imagination in our thematic work based on children's literature.

We create inspiring reading and learning environments based on the world of stories and children's books, and we actively work with language development and reading-promoting measures. The preschool collaborates with Tyringe Library.

The premises are spacious, and we adjust them according to the needs and interests of the children's groups. We also have a large motor skills room and a dining hall. In our outdoor environment, there are grassy areas, asphalt, and forest.

We offer a workplace where innovative thinking is encouraged, and where we develop our teaching through collegial learning. We actively work with our learning environments and the children's real influence related to teaching. You will be part of a team responsible for reflection, planning, and implementation of teaching.

The position is a fixed-term employment from March 22 to August 7, 2026.

Your role with us

As a preschool teacher:

• You see the competent child and base your teaching on the child's interests and needs while working with colleagues.
• You actively work with pedagogical documentation to follow and develop the children's learning processes.
• You contribute new ideas, take initiatives, and recognize the value of collegial learning.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed preschool teacher and passionate about children's development and learning.
• Is professional in your interactions and creates engagement, responsibility, and joy in meetings with children, guardians, and colleagues.
• Is open, creative, and willing to think outside the box to develop the operations.

The Department of Education and Child Care is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools.
