Ängdala Schools is a free school that has been in existence since 1996, beautifully located in a green area on the outskirts of the picturesque Höllviken. We have preschools, primary school, and after-school care with approximately 700 children aged 1-16 years.

Your mission includes being active in and outside the classrooms at our middle school during the school day. You support and motivate students, both at the group and individual level. In collaboration with teachers in the work team and other staff at the school, you design and develop the school's learning environment to create a safe and stimulating activity that contributes to students' learning and development. In the afternoons, you will be part of our after-school activities. You work according to the school's values.

Qualifications

You who are applying have a post-secondary education as a social pedagogue at either folk high school, vocational school, qualified vocational training, or university level. You have experience working with children in school as well as experience as a social pedagogue or equivalent role. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and know how to apply them in daily work. You understand the needs of students requiring special support and find strategies to reach each student, and you are skilled at building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You find it easy to collaborate and are solution-oriented. We look forward to meeting you and having you as part of our team.
