JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special teacher with us, you work closely with students, teachers, and school management to create the best conditions for each student's learning and development. You also collaborate closely with your colleagues in the special team and the student health team. With us, you have a key role in the school's work to create accessible learning environments and good conditions for all students' learning and well-being.

Your responsibilities as a special teacher include:

  • Working with and teaching students, both individually and in groups.
  • Investigating, organizing, and documenting measures for students in need of special support, in collaboration with relevant staff, students, and guardians.
  • Analyzing completed screenings in Swedish together with teachers to plan appropriate interventions at both group and individual levels.
  • Guiding and supporting teachers in developing instruction, extra adaptations, and special support.

You have good collaborative skills and develop together with others, contributing your knowledge and experiences to drive the work forward for students in need of special support. You maintain a professional attitude towards students, colleagues, and guardians.

You are a licensed special teacher with a focus on language, writing, and reading development, and have experience in student health work and the role of special teacher. You are someone who wants to create conditions for our students' continued development and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed special teacher with a focus on language, writing, and reading development, who has experience in the profession and teaching in grades 4-9. You are familiar with the school's mission and operations and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of Swedish as a second language.
