Korsavadsskolan is a secondary school with approximately 400 students, divided into 17 classes. Organizationally, the school is divided into three year-homogeneous home bases, with a working team and 5-6 classes in each. A social worker and a special educator are attached to each home base.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an engaged and development-oriented teacher in Spanish or French for grades 7 to 9. Additional subjects are an advantage.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and analyzing the teaching in the groups you teach. You collaborate well with colleagues and management and see collegial learning as an opportunity for individual and collective development. You are also open in your teaching and gladly invite colleagues to participate. You have a good ability to adapt your teaching based on students' circumstances and are happy to collaborate with student health as needed.

In addition to teaching Spanish or French, you will be a mentor for a class. This is a significant part of your responsibilities. As a mentor, you will follow up on your mentee students' knowledge development and collaborate closely with the students and their guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with the qualifications to teach Spanish or French for grades 7 to 9.

You have a very good ability to create student relationships that benefit the student's development towards the goals, and relationship-building permeates your work, both in and out of the classroom. You also have the ability to create trusting and close contact with guardians, as we value collaboration with homes. The ability to create good relationships with students and guardians is a qualification that weighs heavily and can be decisive in hiring.

You have the ability to create engagement among students through your clear leadership. You have good didactic skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment.

You will be part of the school's subject team in modern languages, where you collaborate on planning, assessment, and development of teaching. You will start from a common curriculum planning and strive for equity in teaching modern languages.

In your role as a teacher with us, you will also take shared responsibility for the students, regardless of grade. Our ambition is to be a school with many adults, and as part of our staff, you will take your own initiatives to be among the students, in and out of the classroom. You actively work to create good student relationships.
