JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lerberg School is looking for a substitute teacher in mathematics and science for grades 4-9.

Job Duties

As a substitute with us, you will:

• be responsible for teaching mathematics and, if necessary, science in grades 4-9
• be a mentor for a group of students and contribute to their social and academic development
• plan, implement, and follow up on teaching according to governing documents
• document students' knowledge development
• actively participate in the work team and contribute to good collaboration
• be a playground supervisor and involved in the school's daily activities

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed and qualified teacher in mathematics and science for grades 4-9
• is a confident, clear, and present leader in the classroom

• builds teaching on good pedagogical relationships
• has a genuine commitment to meet students where they are and help them move forward
• contributes creativity, structure, and joy in work

Experience in teaching is advantageous, but the most important thing is that you want to help create a school where both students and staff thrive and develop.
